This website was originally created in 1995 by my father, Frank Adey making it one of, if not the first website for the area and was influenced from living in the village for many years running our former family B&B, Vale Cottage in Croyde.
Setting up the website enabled us to promote the area helping visitors to find places to stay, eat & drink, local events, things to do and attractions, to just show off what a popular and beautiful part of the world we live in. As the years have flown by, tourism is now one of the main income streams for the local businesses, with the number of visitors and holiday makers increasing year on year.
The re-launch of this website has taken longer than initially planned… however I am delighted with the new look and functionality bringing it into the 21st century and trust that you will find everything you need. My aim, looking forward, is to continue promoting Croyde Bay and other local areas to take full advantage of our superb North Devon coastal villages and all they have to offer.
Croyde will always be my favourite area in North Devon as I grew up here, so perhaps I am a bit biased, but this charming village is extremely sought after with its spectacular scenery and has so much to offer for all age groups (especially if you are a keen surfer!). I felt that it was crucial to re-launch this website as it provides a niche marketing tool for Croyde and the nearby surrounding villages of Georgeham, Putsborough, Woolacombe, Saunton and Braunton.
I hope, whether you live, holiday or just visit this wonderful coastline my website will be of help to you to take advantage of everything the area has to offer.
