Dear Sir/Madam,

Please can you help to support me to raise money for North Devon Hospice?

In memory of Ken Green; a fantastic Dad, Grandad and Husband, I am organising a surf ball on Saturday 30^th March 19, at Croyde Bay Holiday Park. Professional big wave surfer Andrew Cotton is donating his time to guest speak at the event, we have band Majestic Blue playing, a two-course meal and many other surprises planned for the evening.

In April 2019 I am running the iconic London marathon, and my aim is to raise over £2000 for this amazing cause.

I am writing to companies for donations of the following,

• meal vouchers between £15.00 – £100 for our meal tree game.
• Auction lots
• Raffle prizes
• Table sponsorship of £30 – £50 (Company/ business name to be displayed on the sponsored table

If you do feel able to contribute your details will be published through Facebook, in our literature in the evening and programme.

The support that you give will help raise money to help over 2000 patients and their families each year who are facing life limiting illness from across North Devon. The hospice provides inpatient care, support at home through clinical nurse specialists and hospice to home service. They also offer one to one support, group support, bereavement sessions, creative days, complementary therapies, pamper days and nurse consultations for those affected by life-limiting illnesses, not only the patient but the whole family too, including children.

The hospice looked after my father allowing him to remain at home after bravely battling cancer for three years at the age of 59. This time for us like many other families was incredibly challenging and the care the hospice provided to our Dad and our family was first class and therefore I am raising money to not only say thankyou but to help the hospice continue to care for the thousands of North Devon families that is does every year.

You would be helping us to make a really positive difference to the lives of local people who have been affected by cancer and other life-limiting illness.
